Roxanne Farkas

Roxanne is a certified Gallup Career Consultant and has provided training and coaching in the areas of management effectiveness, leadership development, Strengths-based performance management, and employee engagement.
Roxanne has served in the community with the Association for Women in Science (AWIS), Poway Unified School District, Comic Con International and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Roxanne earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the California State University, Sacrament and received her Masters of Arts degree in Career Counseling from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California.
Her goal is to help people do what they do best, at work and in life. She enjoys, doing Yoga at CorePower Yoga, hiking and traveling in the great outdoors with her family.

Alison Herr

Alison served as the Director of Issues at the University of San Diego’s Women’s Center as an undergraduate student, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science. She went on to complete her single subject teaching credential at the University of San Diego, as well. Alison earned her Master of Arts in Postsecondary Educational Leadership from San Diego State University, which led her to her career in Student Affairs at UC San Diego. She has worked in the Chancellor’s Associates Scholars Program, in addition to her current position.
Her goal is to support students see that their unique talents and experiences make UC San Diego and the world a better and more interesting place. She enjoys rowing and competing with the oldest active women’s rowing club in the world, ZLAC Rowing, and working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with San Diego foster youth.

Alex Waters from Collaboratory for Downtown Innovation
Alex Waters is the Program Manager for the Collaboratory for Downtown Innovation, an initiative to build entrepreneurial capacity in San Diego. He has spent years occupying the space between education, technology, and entrepreneurship. By leveraging experience with high growth startups, non-profits, and organizations he delivers a unique brand of training and consulting support. He connects early-stage entrepreneurs to the community resources needed to ensure their ideas, confidence, and money are used effectively to create sustainable businesses.

Kelly Jenkins-Pultz

Kelly Jenkins-Pultz is the Regional Administrator for the San Francisco Women’s Bureau office and oversees efforts to create and deliver educational outreach activities in the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada. The Women’s Bureau’s mission is to advance women’s wages, job opportunities and benefits; and provide technical assistance to educators, business and community leaders about policies and programs to enhance women’s economic status. She has worked with nonprofit organizations and with elected officials at the municipal, state and federal levels of government. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Women’s Studies from the George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
